California Spray Tan

 

before your airbrush spray tanning appointment

 

skin must be clean, dry & exfoliated| use a non-oily exfoliant, brown sugar works great| dry areas, such as knees, elbows, hands & feet need extra attention| no make up, lotion or deodorant| no waxing or shaving the day of your appointment (causes streaking)| manicures and pedicures BEFORE your appointment, not after| report all skin conditions to your tanning technician| use of retina-a, accutane & otc retinoids may result in a splotchy tan| follow wash off directions and after care| leaving the solution on longer than 5 hours may cause discoloration| the longer your solution stays on, the darker your results, max 5 hours| average wash off time is 3-4 hours|

wear loose, comfortably clothing and no bra until after your wash off shower|  avoid wearing, nylong, silk, wool & spandex until after first shower| stay, cool and dry while in solution |

avoid sweating and all water while in solution| we recommend using body soap over bar soap to increase the longevity of the tan| avoid prolong periods in the water, shower, pool, ocean and sauna to avoid premature fading| moisturize your skin often, inside and out| shave as little as possible to extend the life of your tan|excessive sweating can fade your tan| always wear sunscreen as your sunless tan is not a sun protectant |
